1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing or using StashCash, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What StashCash provides
StashCash is a personal savings-planning and record-keeping tool. It allows you to organise virtual savings accounts, record deposits, withdrawals and transfers, set goals, allocate Smart Deposits and schedule supported reminders.
StashCash does not hold, transfer, invest or manage real money and does not connect to your bank accounts.
3. Your responsibility for records
You are responsible for entering accurate information and checking your records. Values shown by StashCash reflect what has been recorded in the app and may not match your actual bank balance.
4. No financial advice
StashCash provides organisational tools only. Nothing in the app or on this website is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Consider obtaining advice from a qualified professional for decisions requiring it.
5. Free and Pro features
The free version may include limits such as a maximum of three accounts and a smaller selection of colours and icons. StashCash Pro may include up to 50 accounts, the complete colour and icon libraries, custom Payday Sync and a Home Screen widget.
Features and limits may evolve. Material reductions to purchased lifetime features will not be made arbitrarily.
6. Lifetime purchase
StashCash Pro is intended to be offered as a one-off purchase rather than a recurring subscription. “Lifetime” refers to access for the supported lifetime of the StashCash app, subject to these terms, platform availability and applicable law.
Purchases and refunds are processed under Apple’s App Store rules. Available prices may vary by country, currency, tax and Apple’s regional pricing.
7. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer or unlawfully redistribute StashCash, bypass purchase restrictions, or use the app in a way that infringes another person’s rights or applicable law.
8. Availability and changes
Reasonable efforts are made to keep StashCash reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. The app may be updated to fix issues, improve functionality, meet platform requirements or protect users.
9. Backups and data loss
StashCash is local-first. You are responsible for your device, backups and exported files. To the extent permitted by law, StashCash is not responsible for loss caused by device failure, deletion, operating-system changes or failure to maintain a backup.
10. Intellectual property
StashCash, its branding, design and original software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app.
11. Disclaimer and liability
StashCash is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss directly caused by a failure to meet applicable obligations.
12. Termination
You may stop using StashCash at any time. Access may be restricted where necessary to address fraud, unlawful use, security risks or material breach of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practical, and the latest date will appear at the top of this page.
